Baby Shower Brings Encouragement for Mothers
Train up a child in the way that he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it..” Proverbs 22:6
On Saturday afternoon, May 9th, the ladies of CWC came together for fellowship and a baby shower for Erica Hunter and newborn daughter, Alexis Hunter. Kathy Smith shared wisdom from God’s word on the subject of child training. She admonished us that we are God’s shepherds over our children and as we do our part in their development, then we will see God’s Spirit pursue them throughout their lives.
All the great gifts for baby, along with the food and fellowship for the ladies, served to make it a wonderful way to celebrate Mother’s Day!
